Our foundation, the National Chengchi University Alumni Association of Northern California (NCUAANC), and the National Chengchi University Alumni Association of Southern California (NCUAASC) invite the NCCU Chen Sheng Chorus, composed of current NCCU students, and the Alumni Classic Choir, composed of NCCU alumni, to participate in a cultural and musical exchange tour in California, USA, in mid-January 2027.

The program will feature concerts, alumni gatherings, and cultural sharing, combining formal performances with intimate gatherings to promote musical and cultural connections across regions.

This program is an important part of the celebration of National Chengchi University’s 100th anniversary, extending the spirit of NCCU to the United States through music, culture, and alumni connections.

Northern California Program Itinerary本活動邀請國立政治大學振聲合唱團及由政大畢業校友組成之經典合唱團，於 2027年一月中旬赴美國加州進行文化與音樂交流巡演。活動以音樂會、 校友交流與文化分享為主軸，結合正式演出與溫馨聚會，期能促進跨地域之文化交流。 本巡演活動為國立政治大學創校一百週年慶祝活動的重要一環，並將透過音樂、 文化與校友交流，將政大校訓的精神延伸至美國。

Generative AI is rapidly evolving from an experimental novelty into an important tool in digital content creation. From early-stage visual planning and concept development to the production of digital assets, AI is helping artists explore ideas more quickly, experiment with different directions, and improve overall production efficiency.

In this seminar, Chien Jarvis 廖千慧, Senior 3D Artist at Electronic Arts, will introduce current 2D and 3D AI tools and explore how they can be integrated into an artist’s everyday workflow while preserving the creator’s creative direction and control.

Drawing from real-world examples, the speaker will explore various applications of 2D generative AI in digital art, including rapidly developing visual concepts, creating mood boards and style references, maintaining consistent visual styles, revising assets, and generating materials and textures.

The seminar will then turn to the rapidly evolving field of 3D AI tools, offering a look at how AI can generate 3D models from a single image. The presentation will also explore how these emerging technologies are gradually making their way into real-world game development.

Whether you are curious about how AI can be integrated into the creative process or simply want a glimpse into the future of game development and digital content creation, this seminar will draw on the real-world experience of a professional artist to offer a fresh perspective on the relationship between AI and creators. AI is not simply a tool for completing tasks—it can also become a partner in exploring ideas, expanding creativity, and co-creating new possibilities.

About the Speaker
Chien Jarvis 廖千慧 graduated from the Department of Journalism at National Chengchi University and the Rochester Institute of Technology in the United States. Her areas of expertise include 3D game development, AR, and VR applications. She is passionate about exploring computer graphics and digital tools and using emerging technologies to create diverse and interactive experiences.生成式 AI 正快速從一項新奇的實驗工具，發展成數位創作中的重要助力。從前期視覺規劃、概念設計， 到實際製作素材，AI 都正在幫助藝術家更快地探索想法、嘗試不同方向，並提升整體製作效率。

在這場演講中，Electronic Arts 資深 3D 美術Chien Jarvis 廖千慧將介紹現今的 2D 與 3D AI 工具，如何真正融入藝術家的日常工作流程，同時保留創作者對作品的主導與創意控制。

講者會從實際案例出發，介紹 2D 生成式 AI 在數位藝術中的各種應用，包括快速發展視覺概念、 製作情緒版與風格參考、維持一致的視覺風格與修改素材，以及生成材質與紋理等。

接著也會談到正在快速發展的 3D AI 工具，帶大家了解 AI 如何從一張圖片生成 3D 模型， 也會看看這些新技術如何逐漸與真正用於遊戲開發中。

廖千慧 Chien Jarvis，畢業於政大新聞系與美國羅徹斯特理工學院， 專長領域涵蓋 3D 遊戲開發、AR 及 VR 應用。熱衷探索電腦圖學與數位工具，藉由新技術創造多元的互動體驗。
